Riot Grrrl & I [2010]
The press may not have twigged on to the legacy that Riot Grrrl will leave, but this doesn’t equate to its non-existence and non-importance. This is where the need for such a book arises. Not just a book regurgitating its Wikipedia entry, but one documenting real life Riot Grrrls, who may not have been in Bikini Kill or Bratmobile, but still follow the ethos nonetheless. Riot Grrrl inspires people politically, intellectually, and – thankfully for the photographer – aesthetically. Riot Grrrls look different, they look the same, but most of all they look interesting."
